Leonardtown now has its own hotel - The Inn at Leonardtown. This luxurious, 40-room boutique hotel in the heart of Leonardtown, right off the Historic Town Square, is within walking distance of all the activity - alfresco dining, a picturesque Wharf, eclectic shops and galleries, gourmet coffee, handmade chocolates and confections, and exciting attractions and events (outdoor concerts, sunset cruises, seaplane rides and more!). In the mood to explore, hop on the Leonardtown Trolley. A short trip will take you to the Port of Leonardtown Winery where you can listen to live music while sampling award-winning wine or refreshing slushies or visit Shepherd's Old Field Market, a unique indoor-marketplace with over 65 specialty shops, a deli, a Brudergarden, games, home-made ice cream and more.
There's so much to see and do in Leonardtown, that it will be well worth an extended stay.

Enjoy the Beautiful Waterways:
Outdoor enthusiasts are sure to enjoy spending the day on the water at Leonardtown Wharf - rent a canoe or kayak, take a boat tour or a standup paddleboard lesson and spend the day paddling along on beautiful Breton Bay. If a leisurely stroll or jog is more your pace, enjoy the gorgeous view from the Wharf then wander up the hill to Leonardtown Square, the heart of Historic Leonardtown, where you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the quality, local restaurants. Wander around and visit the numerous local shops while you’re in town.

Discover the Vibrant Arts & Entertainment Scene:
The Town of Leonardtown, the only Arts & Entertainment District in Southern Maryland, offers a rich experience in culture. Explore art galleries, see shows and attend art shares with upcoming and prominent artists, take group or one-on-one art classes, and create your own work of art in instructor-led workshops. If you love music and dance, you don't want to miss the Leonardtown Summer Music Festival - an exciting outdoor concert series that provides a summer of music and dance performances in venues throughout  historic Leonardtown from Leonardtown Square to Leonardtown Wharf.

Other features to discover include Shepherd's Old Field Market, an historic warehouse and hardware store rehabbed into an indoor marketplace and community gathering space that contains shops, a deli, coffee shop, beer garden, and more; and Port of Leonardtown Winery where you can enjoy live music while you sample their award-winning wines in their elegant tasting room.

Find Adventure & Exploration:
PAC Paddlesports provides rentals for kayaks and paddleboards at Leonardtown Wharf and Port of Leonardtown Winery Park. One favorite paddle outing they highly recommend is a scenic water trail that departs from the Port of Leonardtown Winery Park, launching from McIntosh Run - a little known secret hidden in this vibrant, green park that provides cooling shade to visitors even on the warmest of days. This serene water trail is nearly three miles long and leads to picturesque Leonardtown Wharf Park. The trip can take between 2.5 to 3 hrs to complete depending on the speed of paddling and breaks to smell the flowers. On this outing, sighting a few Bald Eagles is easy to do in the Spring months and if you go in the morning or evening seeing muskrat, beaver or otter is not uncommon.
